Co-Owner / Operator

Dan Michaelis is a visionary leader in the collision repair industry with more than three decades of experience pioneering successful repair centers across the state of Texas – including nearly a decade of executive operations leadership at one of the largest national brands in the industry. 

As Co-Owner/Operator of Texas Collision Centers, Michaelis oversees all aspects of the business, while specializing in operational excellence. 

In Dan’s former role he was instrumental in growing a leading collision repair business from a handful of North Texas locations to more than 300 across the country. In 2019, Michaelis and lifelong friend/teammate, Jared Lennox, embarked on a new chapter by opening a family-owned collision repair center focused on the core values of quality, integrity, family and service.

There are few leaders in the automotive industry with the same knowledge, enthusiasm and passion as Shyllo Michaelis. A rare, authentic, people-oriented leader, Michaelis has spent more than two decades dedicated to creating and delivering a personalized customer experience for anyone who interacts with the brands she represents, while maintaining a company culture of excellence. 

This is undoubtedly why she has held several senior leadership roles with one of the largest automotive collision repair brands in the U.S. In her previous positions, she played a pivotal role in forging relationships with the largest insurance companies in the U.S. by promoting a unique customer experience that focused on communication, exceptional service and consistent repair quality. 

Furthermore, she has an extensive background in marketing, has been heavily involved with countless charitable organizations as well as a wealth of experience in the insurance industry. 

Chief Financial Officer

An accomplished and experienced business leader, Mike Devendorf brings an impressive background of innovative and strategic management to the Texas Collision Centers leadership team. Throughout his career, Devendorf has developed a leadership style that empowers operational success while simultaneously prioritizing the needs of a modern and diverse workforce. 

As one of the managing members of the Texas Collision Centers team, Devendorf oversees and leads all aspects of human resources and talent management, finance and accounting, as well as legal, compliance, regulatory matters and risk management.

With a passion for the automotive industry, Devendorf brings with him more than two decades of collision repair experience to the Texas Collision Centers family.
